Baker Brun, TELEGRAFEN-Mall, Bergen (NOR)

This project proved to be a particular challenge for Berner's design and innovation centre. The art nouveau building of the "TELEGRAFEN" shopping mall, which is also the most exclusive shopping mall in Bergen, was to be the location for the next branch of Baker Brun – sure instincts were required for the implementation. Also, a mere five weeks were scheduled, inclusive of fitting the new concept. The result is worth seeing: the piazza seats around 50 patrons on solid oak chairs – as an eye-catcher, the counter features back-lit glass showcasing distinctive, ornamental graphics. Very harmonious.
