Krimphove, „pain et gâteau“, Münster

A bakery café à la France – this is what the Krimphove family brought back from their summer holidays. The whole thing within a listed building right in the heart of the Westphalian metropolis, in the best location between the Dome and Prinzipalmarkt. Following refurbishment (asp Architekten, Münster) the prestigious house on Michaelisplatz shone with new splendour on all three floors. A wrought-iron chandelier, tiling from Delft and a sales counter made of dark wood with a marble countertop and brass elements create an authentic flair for a café that is always highly frequented.
