Take-away and fine dining

Located in a listed property at the port of the Norwegian town of Bergen is where the former fish trading complex called "Zachariasbryggen" can be found. A project that proved to be a true challenge for the planners and designers of Berner. With a construction sum of around Euro one million, the ground floor was to cater to take-away concept, while the upper floor was to house a sophisticated fish restaurant. "Klarferdigfisk" and "Sjoematskirken" were Berner's answer to this request. Downstairs holds a quality and original snack concept with fresh colours and interesting design details while upstairs, using warm shades of timber, houses a fully-styled restaurant in teak, with plenty of glass and warm light. Many interior details are proof of our meticulousness when it comes to individuality and decoration – such as the "smoker light" designed specifically for "Sjoematskirken" created from around 200 little brass fish.
